All people on Nol are born with some measurement of power. Power is the ability to manipulate the world at will, this can be as little as making a flower bloom, or as significant as creating an entire forest. A person’s power can be felt in the mind, heart, gut, or soul, and none is superior to the other, however, not everyone is born with the same amount of power. The races from the GU planets, on average have larger access to power. Skills are gotten based on what planet a person is from, or their linage. For example, everyone on Fralor has the ability to slow down time, or more accurately motion, but based on their power, the duration of their use of the ability changes. Essentially, skills are the way a person's power is expressed.
