Hover glyphs were developed almost simultaneously by Iclax and Cajara, the galaxies two prime planets with energy-based life-forms. Hover glyphs vary in shape, size and complexity. The larger and more complicated a glyph is, the more access to powers and abilities it has. The glyphs, when bonded to an artificial brain and body, allow the bonded object to use powers common in the Nol galaxy such as: telekinesis, heat, light, flight, etc. Cajaran made hovers or glyphs, are usually circular and blue, while Iclaxian glyphs are green, and more triangular.
